July 15, 2026 – The 20th Shanghai International Die Casting & Non-Ferrous Casting Exhibition officially opened at Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Unicomp made its appearance with the UNCT2200 industrial CT inspection system and launched a special campaign offering sample testing services and technical consultations. On the opening day, the booth drew numerous industry customers who stopped by for in-depth exchanges.
During the exhibition, the In-line Fully Automatic Intelligent Industrial CT Inspection System, independently developed and manufactured by Chongqing Unicomp Technology Co., Ltd., was awarded the title of “2026 National Innovative Technology & Product in Die Casting Industry”, presented by the Industry Technology Infrastructure Public Service Platform (Foundry Sector) under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
This prestigious recognition, endorsed by the national industrial technology infrastructure platform, acknowledges Unicomp’s technological leadership and sustained innovation capability in the field of X-ray intelligent inspection for the die casting sector.
Onsite at the exhibition, Unicomp showcased the high-performance UNCT2200 tailored for die casting inspection. Equipped with dual DR and CT imaging functions alongside self-developed AI defect recognition algorithms, the system rapidly completes 3D reconstruction of workpieces and enables intelligent identification of internal defects including pores, shrinkage porosity and cracks. Boasting micron-level defect detection accuracy, it delivers intuitive and reliable data support for R&D verification and quality control workflows.
Leveraging the UNCT2200 system, Unicomp set up a dedicated Customer Sample Testing Zone at Booth C31, Hall N2. Supported by a team of senior engineers, the zone offers on-site CT scanning, defect analysis and diagnostic services for die castings and non-ferrous castings brought by visitors.
Meanwhile, the sales team held in-depth discussions with customers regarding mass-production inspection line planning and customised solutions.
